New Teams honoring proxy?
We use a client-side proxy. We are finding that some Teams traffic (apps installed in Teams, for example) that used to honor proxy in the old client seem to not be honoring proxy in the new client a...
We have WebView2 deployed and have pretty specific evidence that Teams is sending traffic direct (including updater traffic), at least in our environment. We have a case open with Microsoft and will post here when we know more.
Any update DaveTheTeamsGuy? we are starting to see some strange stuff too.
- Still monitoring. What are you seeing?
- WE are getting login prompts, but it looks like clearing the teams items in credential manager and logging off/loggin on is fixing it. I actually found out that we have teams traffic approved to go direct to the internet without going through proxy, so it might not be directly related to what you are experiencing.
