New Teams App Browser version - Channel Tab - entire Website link converted to lower case

I have recently encountered an issue with the Teams website link feature in the NEW Teams app in Browser Version. When opening the website link using "open in browser", it converts the entire URL to lowercase and causing the website link to fail rendering.
However, the same tab link functions correctly when opened from the "Classic Teams app -web version" or "Teams desktop/native". 
 
Example: 
  • New Teams App Browser Version:
Sample website link opens in a new tab when clicked on  "Open in browser":
 
  • Classic Teams App - Web Version or Teams Desktop/Native:
Sample website link opens in a new tab when clicked on "Open in browser":

    I, and several of my colleagues, also have this issue, but we also experience this issue in the Win10 desktop version as well.

      its fixed in latest preview

       

      edit: but only on Windows and on the Webversion, my Mac still converts to lowercase.. Very annoying..
