MS Teams Live Events
When I set up an MS Teams Live Events and share the link to external users, when they sign-in teams, it said "You need permission to join this live event. Please contact the organizer." What should I do as an organizer?

- Are you sure you set the event as a public event when creating it and not one of the internal options?

JeremyMiller I set the event for specific groups, however, neither the internal or external user can join the session. But when I changed the setting to the public, it was solved.

We had a similar issue and it was related to where (channel/community) the meeting was placed in was hidden/private/closed. We set up a public channel within our community for similar to an "all hands" weekly meeting where everyone within the community can get to. Susan_L123
