MS Teams: Can't take control when screen is shared and control is allowed
Hi all,
I have an issue with taking control when someone shares their screen on MS Team. I can't move the cursor although the other person has allowed me to take control. Some of my colleagues also have the same problem, but a few others aren't experiencing this issue. Troubleshoot performed:
1. Reinstall Teams
2. Login to other computer to for testing
Please kindly assist.
Thanks.
Tim

Hello timcca HenryPhillipsNimbitech This is a known issue and you may want to take a look at the 9/9/2020 (lengthy) post in this prior thread: https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/microsoft-teams/requesting-control-not-working-can-t-click-anything/m-p/319467/page/3

Hi timcca ,
Just double checking it is not something along the lines of the application that you are trying to control is being run as an administrator as that will normally prevent remote control.
Or do you experience the same when just on say the users desktop?
Also with the few others that do not have this issue, do they have the same Teams policies applied and are they trying to control the same user. As there could also be policies at play on the other side.So would be good to know if we are saying that the few, are perfectly fine when they have the same policies and are trying to control the same remote users machine?
Thanks
Henry
