MS Teams -> discover not working

Hi all, I have following problem with Teams.

This is organization: Exchange 2016 on-premise with users synced to O365 tenant with Azure AD connect. Login to O365 is with user primary mail address.

Issue is: discovering teams not working.

So when I go to Teams -> Join or create a Team ->  I don't see any team

If I type in Search field first letter of Team name, for example "S", I will get all Teams which name starts with S. 

But on the mobile app (both android&ios) everything is working great.  So the same user doesn't see Teams in the desktop/web (tried multiple browsers) app, but discover works fine on the mobile.

 

If I migrate that user to O365 (so that mailbox is hosted in O365) discover works fine both in the desktop/web app and mobile.

I user is on-premise user can't discover teams in desktop/web app.

 

 

 

Any suggestions?

      I am happy that I am not only one :).

      I am banging my head with this for weeks now and I am without any progress.

      I also have open ticket with MS O365 support but for now we didn't make a step.
