MS-Teams - A team for this group already exists error when creating Teams via share-point

I'm trying to create a new Team (for Microsoft Teams) from an existing share-point site. I have added an Office365 group to the site but when I try and create a Team, I am getting "A team for this gr...

RoVar4 You create a office 365 group fom Sharepoint? 

If yes, it's normal as a Team is an office 365 groups with teams activated.

Or you connect it from sharepoint, or you go in the admin portal https://admin.microsoft.com/AdminPortal/Home#/groups

filter to office 365 groups, find the group. The icon of temas should be missing. Click on the group, navigate to the "Teams tab" and cllick on create (issue to embed image, see attachements)

      If you go to the azure active directory portal, in the groups and search for your groups, did you see the Teams there?

        Check also that it's not somewhere deleted. Maybe there was something with a similar name. For example with powershell

        Connect-AzureAD
Get-AzureADMSDeletedGroup
