Moving from skype to teams does not migrate my chat history
If you want to get ALL your chat history, you have to join "teams insider programme" BEFORE you enter any chat. All chats you entered after migrating from Skype and before joining the Insider Program will be left with no chat history. To fix this you need to clear you MS Teams data in the app properties or delete that specific account migrated from Skype and then migrate again from scratch, remembering what was written at the beginning
Could you help me a little with your advise? Clearing the data in the app properties didnt help for me. So I wanna try with deleting account. But is it possible to delete teams account? When i try do this browser goes to the site where I can delete only whole Microsoft account. But of course I dont wanna do this. How can I delete only teams account (profile)? Thank you

Hi. I'm not sure I can help much. You shouldn't to delete your Teams account - just sign out via the Account Manager icon in the top right-hand corner. Sign-in with one of your Microsoft accounts or your Skype account. Be aware that Teams behaves slightly differently between a Personal account and a Business account. I didn't need to clear any data and was not using a mobile phone (hate the things!) but using a desktop PC and using the installed Teams as part of Microsoft365.

Thank you. See what I wrote now in this topic below in response to berglion. Because my problem is probably something else.

Hello, let's move step by step.
- You shouldn't delete account, it would be irreversible
- You could either clear your specific account data from Teams or delete Teams and then install it again (try the second option)
- Next step is entering skype and following its instructions (as I have described before)
- Before entering any chat you join the insider program and wait until Teams proposes you to reboot the app
- And after all these steps you can enter any chat, your data has to be restored

Ok, but my problem is probably something else. Namely, I can see all the chats and their history. There is no one chat only, the most important one for me, with my girlfriend. When she created a Skype account, she wanted to be anonymous and entered dots in the name. But I wanted to see her name, and years ago I changed the name of the account displayed for me. And maybe that's why this chat didn't synchronize at all. It didn't migrate to Teams. I can see all the other chats and their history, except for this one chat. I can't find any other explanation, except that the lack of migration is due to this changed username. The chat with her only popped up when she wrote to me yesterday, but this chat was displayed without history and with a name with dots, not with the name I gave myself years ago. Any ideas?
