Monitor audio from a live event
Hi everyone.
I have a problem that is repitedly happening in our events. We would like to monitor the audio that is being broadcasted by a live event on microsoft teams. The only way that we found to do so is to log in to the event as an attendee with another computer and monitor the audio from there. That adds a delay from 10 to 20 seconds from what is being broadcasted.
Is there a way of getting the audio that is being broadcasted from the same computer that is broadcasting?
As technician it would be nice to monitor the audio that is being sent in real time to check for possible mistakes and to edit auido having as a reference the output from the program, which is the nearest point to monitor what the attendees are actually listening.
Regards
Out of interest, what method are you using to monitor the audio from the attendee device please?

Right now.... the only way we have to monitor the signal is to login into the event as a guest. That signal has a delay from 10 to 30 seconds. Then plug-in headphones or take the signal out from the computer to a mixer and monitor it from there.
It gives us a rough idea of the signal quality but if we have to somehow alter it (EQ, compression, level, etc..) its not feasible to work with that delay. Any change that you will apply to the signal will be monitored 30 secs later.
