Microsoft Teams Stuck in Queue

This "The host could also not see him waiting in the queue" makes me think there was a glitch of some sort. As the coworker wasn't visible in the lobby either that wasn't your meeting that person was waiting in. I've experienced a similar behavior once being directed to a non-existing meeting but still waiting in there. My recommendation would be to reschedule if it was to happen again.
