Microsoft Teams on Linux - How to stop Teams from blinking in the taskbar when you receive a message
I'm using Microsoft Teams on Linux, and I have set the auto-hide option on my taskbar (dock), and each message in Teams is causing my taskbar to show and hide several times, which is very annoying.
I know you can use the ForegroundFlashCount registry entry on Windows to stop the blinking.
But how can this be achieved in Microsoft Teams on Linux?
- Hi,
It seems like currently we don't have a fix for the same. We would have to raise a feedback to Microsoft using the below link.

Type regedit in your Windows search bar and launch the Registry Editor app.
Then navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop.
Double-click on the ForegroundFlashCount key.
Set its value to 1. Hit OK and restart Teams.
