Edwin_P It may be that the fix is still working its way through, however, I personally do the following if I have issues with team - clear teams cache. Note the file path below, be careful not to delete the wrong one!
From 'Application Cache', go to Cache and delete any of the files in the Cache location. “%appdata%\Microsoft\teams\application cache\cache” From 'Blob_storage', delete any files that are located in here if any

Ugh!!! spent the last 40 minutes un-installing and re-installing... changing passwords Tanya Denton
Well at least I know it was not me.... or my machine.
Certificate expired, should be resolved soon...
https://twitter.com/MSFT365Status/status/1224351597624537088We've determined that an authentication certificate has expired causing, users to have issues using the service. We're developing a fix to apply a new certificate to the service which will remediate impact. Further updates can be found under TM202916 in the admin center.

Have the same problem in NL. Can't start teams in the browser and app, but can access team on iPhone

Tanya Denton Yes, UK as well, but it only seems to be on fresh sign-ins. If the user is already in Teams and signed in, they seem to be OK.

Scott Wichall That makes sense as the update we have just received says:
Root cause: An authentication certificate has expired causing users who have logged out and those that are still logged in to have issue using the service.

Tanya Denton That explains it then. What it doesn't resolve is that I have spent the last 30 mins trying to get a fresh build laptop userprofile setup, and failing to get Teams logged in LOL.

- Microsoft had confirmed the issue:
”We're investigating an issue where users may be unable to access Microsoft Teams. We will have further information soon. We appreciate your patience as we work to solve the problem”
Keep an eye on the service health in Admin center
