Microsoft Teams Channel Email Inbox not stripping attachments

I've been using Microsoft Teams Channel email inboxes to route report subscriptions to it it because it has the awesome feature that it strips the attachment of an email, I can then create a Flow to grab these report files.

This is really cool, however there is one report server email for which this does not work. It receives the emails, saves them onto the Channel "Email Messages" folder but then does just saves the .eml file without stripping the attachment.

Anyone have any ideas as to the root cause? or have ideas on a work around, just need to fix this as the last step towards automation, so would really appreciate help.

  • Yuodel21 Are the attachments different than what you have used before? Wondering if it won't strip certain mime types (Types of attachments).

thanks ChrisWebbTech attachments are all good,  if I open up the .eml files and forward them to the same channel inbox it works fine. So it is most likely to do with who the sender email is.

      • Possibly. It could be whatever e-mail system is sending them is sending them in some way the parser doesn't like. Is it a different sender / system sending it in than any other ones that were working?
