Is it possible to change the automatic sort default from "last edited" to alphabetical order?
Just Set the view U want, click on All Documents (up, right), and save it under "Save view As" and leave it as "All Documents". It will stay that way until changed.
No you are talking about the files that are held in the 'Files' entry on Teams.
If you link to a SharePoint Document library via a Team then you can go straight to your folders and files held there and they appear in last updated order and you cannot change this to alphabetic order.
It is really annoying and frankly a basic option surely ??
Schnazola 100%, same problem here.
- Agreed, the files default to alphanumeric sort order, so very often I have to resort the files to show last modified first. Would love to find a way to set this as the default sort order.
- I have the OPPOSITE problem. My files are always sorted alphabetically. I prefer them sorted newest to oldest. But every time I navigate away from and return to the file list, they are back to alphabetical. I minor problem, for sure, but since it's frequent, it is very irksome.
