Microphone problems in Teams app

    This is what worked for me.
    I am using a USB microphone.
     
    I found this strange behavior. When I click on "Show device settings" in the "More actions" menu. 
    The mic will not work. It's bugged.
     
    However, when accessing the device settings from the icon.

     

    Then
     
     

     

    The microphone will work normally.
    I'm not sure why this happens. This is what I've found.

Same issue here with laptops Dell Latitude 3410 (Realtek Audio with Intel Smart Sound) and microphone in Teams app.

 

The microphone works well in other applications and web browser, but in Teams desktop app the volume is too low.

 

Tried all the suggested options but nothing seems to work.

 

Anyone has new ideas? Thanks.
