Microphone problems in Teams app

    This is what worked for me.
    I am using a USB microphone.
     
    I found this strange behavior. When I click on "Show device settings" in the "More actions" menu. 
    The mic will not work. It's bugged.
     
    However, when accessing the device settings from the icon.

     

    Then
     
     

     

    The microphone will work normally.
    I'm not sure why this happens. This is what I've found.

If using Windows 10,
Go into Settings, System, Sound, In the Input Section change dropdown to Headset Microphone
below that is Device Properties, slide the scale to 100 and try again.
If that doesn't work try the Troubleshoot button below Device Properties.

The microphone works well for all other apps except Teams

    I Have the same problem. My Mic works well on Lync meetings, but not in Teams.
