Microphone not working Windows 10

When I participate in a voice/video meeting in Teams my microphone in my headset isn't working, i tried using the test call but it doesn't pick up the microphone, I tried testing the microphone in sk...

    I found the problem for my headset suddenly not working in Teams.
    After a update (Teams, Not Windows 10) I had to give the app permission again.

    DCguy Under Microphone privacy settings option, Teams won't showup in the list. Instead it shows with the following message. Not sure if this means a different problem.

     

    My problem statement is :- Eventhough my bluetooth earbuds shows in both "Input" and "Output" device options, the Microphone audiometer just won't move as a reponse to my sound. At times I could hear but cannot speak, using my bluetooth earbuds.

      I had this issue few days ago, I tried to uninstall Microsoft teams and reinstall it and it worked for me.

    DCguy , The solution worked for me. Teams could not detect the microphone after windows update.

    This didn't work for me. Tried to grant permissions again quite few times. I have also tried to forget and repair my bluetooth earbuds but microphone doesn't work. I have to use microphone of my laptop in order to make the MS Teams call.
