Mic not working in Microsoft Teams when using a cisco connection

I have an issue in which my microphone is not working in Microsoft Team when I am working remotely using a Cisco connection. I found that if I change Start-Settings-Privicy-Microphone-Allow apps to access your microphone Teams works (audio). What's odd is the camera setting is set to not allow apps to access your camera. So I'm a little perplexed and wondering why my camera is working but I have to change the microphone settings every time I log in for the microphone to work. Is there maybe another setting somewhere?
