Mentioning Team vs Mentioning Channel
Hello guys, since recent change (MC793969) it appears that if you mention the team or the channel in a channel that the user has hidden, he will not be notified... In the past this behaviour was on...
This makes no sense....
- You can't control who is hiding channels
- You can't enforce visibility for channels
- You cant reliably inform all members that rules have changed (unless you create a TAG with all members and you keep it up to date)
The bigger the team, the worse.
I just found out recently when I realized that people were not receiving alerts from the channel that we use to post about emergencies. And now I have no way to tell everyone (team has over 200 members, that keep changing) unless I create a global TAG and add all.
