Meeting attendance report for Shared mailbox scenarios
- Apr 15, 2021
Hello, AFAIK there's no quick fix for shared mailbox scenarios and the attendance report. The shared mailbox is the "organizer" and every shared mailbox has a corresponding user account with a system generated password, and you would have to use that account. There are several UV requests for this.
Adding this which should solve the problem, but it's quite long until release.
"Co-organizer Meeting Role" https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/roadmap?filters=&searchterms=%2C81391
That worked perfectly with Microsoft Teams "new" version. Thank you so very much for sharing. For a meeting series created by me in a shared mailbox calendar, to see the attendance reports I followed your instructions:
- opened the invitation series from my personal Outlook calendar
- clicked on "meeting options" at the bottom of the invitation
- in the web page that opened added my userID as a "co-organizer" and saved the change
- quit teams and reopened
- magically attendance reports are now showing up for every instance of that meeting in the meeting chat
Thank you again, your post was really, really helpful!
Andrew.
