Mac Permissions with Catelina

I have several teachers who have upgraded the OS to Catalina and while some are seeing Teams in the new Files and Folders(Security Preferences > Privacy > Files and Folders) many are not, nor will it allow them to add it. It doesn't seem to be effecting their ability to share files and folders but we are concerned that there could be issues down the road. Any thoughts?
