Logitech TAP Scheduler Teams panel - "Your current license is not supported on this device"
MaartenvandeWiel Yes, we needed to upgrade to the Pro-licenses to get it to work. When I told the technician that it worked flawlessly for 4 months without the Pro-licenses, he couldn’t give me an answer on why that was.
FelixHenning , thanks for the quick response. We'll upgrade the license.

I have added shared license but it still doesn't work. Do you have it combined with Basic license or solo? NExt step is pro, but seems like an extreme cost for something basic like this. - drewferorsOct 26, 2023Copper ContributorI've just been wrestling with this also.
When the firmware upgraded they all stopped working.
I had to get the "Microsoft Teams Shared Devices" license added to our tenant for it to work.
Saves the larger cost of the pro teams license. But it still costs a bit.
We dont run anything teams based in room, just the TAP Scheduler outside the room - JohnDoe06Oct 24, 2023Copper Contributor
Hey, an update on my findings and how we moved on.
We've found that the compatibility of our devices with Microsoft licensing is contingent on firmware. Every device that hadn't been updated with the latest firmware worked flawlessly. However, upon upgrading the firmware, we encountered licensing roadblocks that prevented further use of the devices.
Logitech, unfortunately, didn't provide us with the option to revert to the previous firmware when we were still trying to diagnose the problem.
I've opened a separate ticket with Microsoft to challenge their decision to restrict access to the basic check-in panel feature. It's particularly frustrating because competitors offer equivalent functionality at a much lower cost, yet Microsoft has not responded to my queries.
We now use a third-party service.
- DonaemouSOct 24, 2023Copper ContributorHere the Tap IP is working as well, but we get an error with the Rally Bar now, where the Tap IP is showing to change the service provider to use the Rally Bar: AKA, move to another platform like Zoom or others, cause with this license is not working. This is the 4th different license we tried. Microsoft Business Essentials (runs smoothly on 2 conference rooms in the same tenant), Microsoft Teams Rooms, Teams Rooms Pro and even M365 Business Standard... WTH Microsoft or Logitech, who is working against?!?
- MaartenvandeWielOct 24, 2023Copper ContributorAfter we upgraded the license to Teams Rooms Pro, it's working fine.
- DonaemouSOct 20, 2023Copper ContributorMaartenvandeWiel and FelixHenning I having the same issue. Logitech Tap IP VR0029 with Microsoft Teams 1449/1.0.96.2023062301 installed and worked flawlessly here too. Once we decided to reset the device, with the same Microsoft Teams Essentials, and same room account, the device now show the "Your current license is not supported on this device" error. The other 2 devices installed, are currently running with no issues at all... Bugged?
