Live events recordings location
Hi Community, Does anyone know where the live events recordings are located ? Thank you in advance.

Yes, it's the case for the regular meetings, but can't find the live events recordings in Stream.

If the Live Event is created and hosted by Teams, then the recordings needs to be manually uploaded to Stream. Currently the recording is only visible, when Live Event has been ended, in the Meeting invite for the producers/presenters.
They can download it and decide to upload it manually to Stream.
The recording of a live event with an external app/hardware is hosted directly in Stream. With this option the recording should be directly in Stream.

Mitchell Bakker I think the reasoning behind not automatically storing the Teams Live event recording in Stream is the access permissions in Stream.
Teams live meeting can be created for both internal and external audiences. However Stream content can only be accessed by internal users which is no good if you are running a public Live event.
This is why it is hosted in Azure Media services for 180 days so any invited user can access the recording
