Live Events - See All Presenters View

There's no specific technical reason why video quality would be different to a regular meeting, all the same technology is used. Try looking at the call records for effected users in Teams admin to diagnose any network issues effecting quality.
All this is going to change by about the end of this year, there will be a new experience where regular Teams meetings will allow up to 1000 live attendees and 20,000 view only attendees under the Advanced Communications license. It'll take away the difference between a Live Event and regular meeting, so your users can be familiar with pinning, spotlighting etc. in either scale of meeting.
Presenters will be within what feels like a fairly normal Teams meeting, their view will be a grid of up to 9 videos. Once someone starts sharing a screen you'll see a smaller number of videos across the bottom of the meeting, depending how big the screen is. They can switch back to the grid by clicking on one of the videos.
The producers view is different, and will show small versions of each video so they can be selected and added to the queue.
Thanks. We are not seeing the Presenters view to be like a regular Teams Meeting. There is no control over the number of other presenters you can see in the grid and the video is terrible quality. In regular Teams meetings all is good for video quality and I think a regular meeting gives you either a group or one-up view option (but still lacking in user-controlled viewing IMO). So it seems like something is up specifically with Presenters view of Live Events. Everyone is now hesitant to use it based on the poor UI. The Attendee view of the live stream works fine for the most part.

StevenC365 thank you. What is the Advanced Communications License? Is it included with E3/A3 licensing?
