Linux version no new features

Today in teams webapp I notice some new features (rise hand or something like that) which no in Teams for Linux version. As far as I know this Linux version it's webapp in electron, so I wonder why no these features also in Linux Teams application? Other people talk that we should use it when some one want tell something in discussion. However I can't do it because in my linux teams application no this feature.

      I voted but it's ridiculous that community need create feature request for keep up to date software.
