Limit to number of participants in video call
Dear All,
I would like to know if you can have more than 20 people in a video call or if this has to be a meeting.
I understand you cannot launch a video call from a chat of more than 20 people. But I am unclear if you can add more than 20people to a call one by one.
Our organisation limits who can start a meeting and I need to call 40 people without creating a meeting.
Many thanks,
Jess

JessJohnston Hello Jessica, obviously Steven has already answered your questions but perhaps this will help you out if in need of additional limits specs.

JessJohnston yes, the limit is 20 people in a call started from Chat. You would need a meeting to get to 250 meeting attendees.
Why would they block meetings when you have a need for it ?

StevenC365 Thanks for your reply. What about a call that is not started from a chat. Ie just started as a call. Does this limit to 20 people?
JessJohnston yes, it is the same.
