Late Arrivals Can't See PowerPoint Presentation
I see this issue has been discussed before, but I can't find a definitive answer. My user is presenting a PowerPoint presentation within the Teams interface (NOT shared desktop.) When someone arrives late, the presenter has to restart the presentation

PowerPoint Live how to is here

Generally speaking, the fullest version of it is in the desktop app so would recommend the presenter presenting from the desktop. The web experience has some features like notes but is lacking many.
In terms of the web experience look also at browsers. Edge and Chrome are fully supported but Firefox and Safari are not. This could be causing issues

Also, network. Bandwidth limitations may be causing it, as well as users joining on flaky wi-fi connections

Hope this all helps and gives you some pointers

Hey Katiatu
Just to confirm, the presenter was presenting in PowerPoint Live? Or was it sharing as the PowerPoint app? In addition, how were the people joining? Was it people internal to the organization? Or external? And do you know how they were joining? On the desktop? On mobile? On the web?
Look forward to hearing from you
Best, Chris

Thanks so much for getting back to me! So much time has passed, I hope you can remember the issue. My user was just presenting a PowerPoint presentation, NOT using PowerPoint Live. She was just sharing the file. I'm hoping to learn more about PPLive. Let me know if you can recommend some good resources. All our users join using the webapp, not the desktop app.
