"last owner of private channel cannot be removed" error
Thank you for your response. I am a Trainer and during a course I added this member to a Team. There was a Private Channel but he is not an owner (or even a member of it!). He has never been an owner of ANY channel. Your suggestion was great and I had a look anyway but nothing there.

Hi JohnKelly ,
As adam deltinger said have you looked in the Teams Admin centre, you will need to have that role against your account. Presumably if you haven't turned off the ability for members to create channels then he could have created a private channel as part of the training which only he sees.
Hope that helps
Andy

Hi Andrew Hodges ,
I hadn't thought of that. I'll check, seems unlikely but can't rule it out. Thanks again for all the assistance.

Sorted, here are the steps
I created the Private Channel but He was the only owner or member
He then deleted the Private Channel so neither of us could see it.
When I tried to remove him I got the error message but crucially it did not Mention the Name of the Private Channel.
When he tried to remove himself it then showed the name of the Private Channel so we were able to recover the Channel, make me and owner and then remove him.
Thanks for all your assistance.
