Jabra Evolve 75 UC Mute/Unmute Sync Issue With Teams 1.5.00.22362 (8/26/22)
I am now another user with two Jabra Evolve headsets (Evolve 75 and Evolve 2 75) that have the same issues. I am on 2x Windows 10 (1x corporate) and windows 11
I have done similar to the above.
This is not acceptable to have drivers not working after more than one year.
Boom arm was syncing fine with Teams mute button.
After a Teams update (current version: 23272.2707.2453.769) the sync suddenly stopped.
I checked with another laptop running on Win 10 with earlier Teams version and the boom arm syncs just fine. Which I believe clearly shows the root cause. A job well done MS!
The problem is that I bought a headset for my work and out of the blue a very useful feature doesn't function.
On the other hand, Jabra support says to contact MS (convenient indeed).

I recently went to a new laptop with Win11 and using new-teams. I had issues with the boom mic position changing mute status in Teams.
Using Jabra Link 370, I find that if I hot move it to a different USB A port it fixes it.
I'll see if this other USB socket is better with the Jabra Link, but hot swapping to a different USB socket seems to wake it up.

OK I'll give it a try.
But I guess it doesn't solve the issue, right?
I understand is just a temp workaround.

Using the dongle does not resolve anything.
We are several users in big organisations that have a completely locked down computer where we cannot use any additional software than the standard bluetooth software.
Any dongles or any addtional tools developed are meaningless. In addition the Jabra evolve2 75 and evolve 75 are both as bad at it with or without the dongle. I have tested it across 3 different computers in W10, W11 environment.
I had to send my Jabra headset back as it is not productive to mess around wqith settings and non working microphone all the time.
So to answer your question: send back your Jabra headset ASAP as they are not made for using at all. Those kind of toys they can keep on the factory and play around with but in a professional setting they are completely useless.
