Issue with Join or Create Microsoft Teams
Hello Folks We are in GCC Tenant. When i click on Join or create a team it only gives me two options add to existing group or Join a team with code but not Build a teams from scratch option. Any ...
JeremyMiller I'm already part of AD group which is used to create teams. Even tenant admin who restricted group creation sees the same behavior and doesn't see create teams from scratch option. Any ideas?
Have you tried to create a Team using the New-Team PowerShell commandlet to see if it allows you to create the Team? That would verify that the permissions are correct. Also, do you see the same experience in both the desktop and web clients?
JeremyMiller Yes just tried creating a new team using powershell and was successfully able to create it. Yes on both web and desktop clients i see build teams from scratch option is missing.

- Is the option there to create a new planner plan from Planner? If not then the config is off since it’s not letting anyone create groups.
ChrisWebbTech Yes i'm able to create New Plans from planner without any issues. The issue is just with teams creation interface. Thank you
