iPad MS team app - files is no good to us

As far as my research shows, I cannot share a file in the iPad version of Microsoft teams. There is a Files tab ...which I assume would be for other people to share files with me. But, and please correct me if I'm wrong, I am totally unable to share a file with the team via the iPad.
