If I remove a file from SharePoint, will this also be removed from Teams?
Hi, I am struggling to find out some information about how Teams and SharePoint sync.
I understand that Teams talks to SharePoint, so if I remove file in Teams, it also removes it from SharePoint.
What I want to know is do both sync the other way. So if I make a change in SharePoint, will I see the same result in Teams?
Thank you.
I'm assuming you mean files in Teams' channel?
Teams is only a front page for many different services (SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange, Skype, Streaming), and it have no own storage for the files. This means, there are no synchronization between Teams and SharePoint. So removing file from SharePoint removes it from Teams. But also, removing the file from Teams, removes it from SharePoint.
