I have teams for business and am considering teams for education do I need this upgrade?
Hi, we are new users to teams and just getting to know it. We are a training school and wonder if teams for education would be better for us, or will teams be sufficient? Any advice welcomed.

Sorry took me some time to find the pricing article for education tenants, here you go :
Historically the process to move from a business tenant to an education tenant has been to get an entirely different education tenant and then move data from your business tenant to the education one, but MS has changed the process and now I think you should be able to get your regular teanant converted to Education post verification from MS. Please get a ticket going with MS to confirm the process and your eligibility for education tenant.

It all depends on what organizational structure you are looking to deploy, In the long run, I think you would be better off with Teams for education. A similar post has already been answered please refer below post for more details and comparison:

- Thank you so much for this. I will have a look. I think maybe trialling a bit longer with teams and then look at costs etc to switching. I'm not sure if its much more expensive and how I would go about changing over. Thanks
