I cannot see new window/programs when sharing

If I open a new program or new window inside a currently running program, Teams does not recognize this as a sharing option. This is presenting a problem as I cannot share as usual. How can I fix this?

    Depending on how and what you share this is expected. If you share an app, any new windows won’t be shared! I’d suggest you share the desktop instead in these cases!
