I cannot create a bullet list anymore in teams chat

workaround appears to be opening the "format editor" button. The A with the pencil on the bottom left corner of your message. Then the list stays active as you press enter. Of course, now you cannot press enter to send the message...
Found another workaround (variant of the original workaround really) - while typing you can press CTRL+SHIFT+X to enter the compose mode which allows you to type out lists normally. Then (as suggested by another) you can hit CTRL+ENTER to send the message. Not intuitive/easy but better than switching between mouse/keyboard to type out a list.
