How to restore a Teams group chat

User had a Teams group chat (so, not tied to a channel or Team), called 'ABC', this group chat, had around 80 members.

One day, it disappeared, and user did not see it anymore when typing ABC in the Teams search bar.

Was seeing other group chats named similarly  (like  'ABC HR', etc.).

This 'ABC' group chat that vanished was not renamed, so it is not  'ABC HR' or another group chat.

When typing the name of a user that was a member of that group chat, let's say 'Carol', we see the user 'Carol' and all the group chats that she is a member.

This group chats that we see on the drop down menu in the search bar, are not the group chat that vanished.

Is there a way to recover that 'ABC' group chat ?

I suppose that one can do a Search content for messages of type IM, but not recover the history of that vanished group chat, just individual messages.

Any help is really appreciated
