How to find the administrator of an organization?
Hi!
I'm trying to setup the free version of teams for a customer and I'm facing some problems with the first steps.
I use (what I guess is) the admins-mail-address to login to teams.microsoft.com.
The first strange thing: Microsoft seems to link a business-account and also a private-account to this one mailaddress. However, I also have two pwds, so I tried both and I can reach the next step in each account.
After accepting the passwords, there is my real problem:
Using the private account, the page tells me that somebody else had already setup Teams for the customers Organisation.
Using the business account, the page tells me that I should ask the administrator to activate Teams.
No other options are available so I can't login to teams or create a teams-account for the customer.
As far as I thought, I'm the admin for this organisation so I called the MS-Hotline. Unfortunately the hotline wasn't able to tell me who this suspicious other admin could be, neither tell me his / hers mailadress or give me any other useful information.
The only recommendation (beside of this community) was to use another mail-address from a different domain - but I refuse to setup domains just to get this registration done, sorry.
Who can help me to find the administrator?
Microsoft should know as they are blocking me because of "him".
Or is there any other solution / workaround? Could it be a bug?
I will happily provide the domainname to a MS employee via mail/pm to solve this.
And in conclussion: Sorry for my bad english 😉
