How to connect a O365 Team to a different group?

Hi all I have an O365 Team that a user created. He now realizes that when he created it, he connected it to the wrong O365 group. He wants to connect the Team to a completely new O365 group, so that...

    No, this is not possible. He can create a new Team /group as he wanted but moving a team to another group is not possible..

adam deltinger Thanks for the response.

Am I right in saying that I cannot delete the team as well because this will delete the group? Is there a way to remove the team without removing the group?
