You can block profanity in Teams and Private chats: answer is1.) Communications compliance

Or2.) You could use a Data Loss Prevention policy: I wrote a blog how to do this step by step

- Dec 18, 2021FMaisters: I have just raised a feedback for getting communications compliance on Teams Meeting Recording Transcripts here. This would cover it assuming transcription is turned on because it would capture what people say and when flagged, would send to the administrator to review
