How do I share content on a video call
Hi all.
I'm new to Teams but need to figure how to do some of the things I can do in Zoom.
In a video call How do I:
Quickly show /share content/video from my phone/desktop to all when in a video call. It's easy in Zoom but I can only see powerpoint as an option in teams. Seems limiting so hoping I'm missing something.
Thanks.

dodfaefife you are missing something, when you press share in the mobile app you can share a Ppt, Picture, File or the entire screen.
On the desktop you can share your entire desktop, an individual window, powerpoint or a whiteboard.

OK. That seems more like it. I'm not using mobile but I do want to share content from my phone with those I'm in a video with via desktop. On, say, Zoom I can just hit share and then sow images video or live feed from my phone to the team. Thanks.
- You can do same in Teams. Seems your tenant might have the meeting policy setup where what you can share is restricted. I would go check that out. If changes are made give it some time to take hold but that is most likely what is going on in your case here.
The sharing experience depends on the client you are using, so there are some differences between desktop/browser/mobile. Read here for more info: https://support.office.com/en-us/article/share-content-in-a-meeting-in-teams-fcc2bf59-aecd-4481-8f99-ce55dd836ce8#ID0EAABAAA=Desktop
There also might be some policies in place restricting certain actions, such as sharing the desktop.

Ah. I see. I'm used to being able to share things from my phone or iPad while using desktop. Seems Teams is more restrictive. VasilMichev
