How do I remove an unknown organization invite without accepting it
- Jan 04, 2022
Thank you for your reply. I do not see the second organization in https://myaccount.microsoft.com/ because i never accepted the invite, i can only see my main organization there so i cannot remove it from there.
I tried logging out, closing team then deleting all cache. When i open Team and login again i still see the second organization there waiting for me.
It seems the only way to remove it is to accept the invite meaning allowing access then go to https://myaccount.microsoft.com/ and remove it!
Tony999 i too have this same issue... was there ever a solution?

MSaye2155 original posting from 2021 and still no viable solution from Microsoft 😞

We are now in 2026... I started receiving invitations for random teams in various languages from all around the world.... its basic scam (Here is the latest one as an example :
You have successfully authorized a payment of 409. 99 USD. If this transaction was not initiated by you, McAfee+™ Ultimate - Family Invoice ID:ANE‬465425 please c0ntact ‬‬ our support immediately at +1 XXX 266 8B97.) **Not only they make Typo... but the phone as a "B" in it!! LOL (had to remove the first 3 numbers myself cause of content not permitted)
I am also using a "personal" teams account - (or more accurately NEVER used it) -- I logged in, and there does not seem to be a way to remove those unwanted scam from my list... i have a bunch now and would definitely like to remove them...
