How can I identify meeting attendees as "special" when doing a poll?

I need to be able to tag or identify certain meeting attendees as "special" when performing a poll in a meeting. Only these "special" people can vote in the poll.  Anyone have any idea how to do this?  The people will always be the same, pending they don't leave the company.
