Hiding team templates

Some of the Team Templates are not relevant to my client, How can we prevent specific Team Templates from being displayed when creating new teams?

At the moment, no! The built in can’t be altered with neither deleted! Microsoft will provide admin control over these soon, but until then you can upvote this on uservoice:

Thanks for the confirmation, we had this same problem with MS provided templates years ago in SharePoint. It sure would be nice if the MS dev teams stopped making the same mistakes 🙂
