Hide bar at top of teams sharing
Hi all
When I share my screen in meetings it involves using a browser i.e. I`m presenting things using google chrome.
I get a bar asking me to change my screen size/settings etc on teams. It's frustrating because I have to click away or wait a moment. Is there a way to stop this from appearing??
thanks!
rayted22 I'm not aware of any way to disable it. It's generally needed is you end up giving control to other people.

- RachaelBoneckIron ContributorIs there any way to report this as an issue or suggest an alternative idea? This bar is incredibly annoying to every single person I've spoken to at my company. Continuously and carefully avoiding that bar while presenting cannot possibly be the desired outcome.
Giving control to someone else should be something you can select at the top of Teams with the rest of the options (people, chat, camera, mic, share...) and absolutely does not need to be a separate bar. Exactly like it works when someone else is sharing their screen and I get a "Request control" button at the top of my Teams.- Star-DIron Contributor
RachaelBoneck , There's apparently some topics on the Feedback portal (though if you are in GCC, you can't log into the feedback portal to upvote them)

rayted22 I'm not sure I've heard of this message.
Which platform Windows/Mac/Web others ? What exactly are the step to reproduce?

StevenC365 You seem to be confused. This is standard Teams behavior, for every non-mobile platform. You have seen this feature if you have shared content.
And it is very annoying compared to other collaboration apps, which easily allow you to slide or move the bar. Teams instead decides that you just dont get to access anything under this bar.

Hi Steven
Using windows... 10
I have 2 screens (though people with one screen have an issue too)See attached. Happen when sharing your screen - primarily noticed when using google chrome.... it pops up hiding/preventing me from navigating tabs on chrome!
Thank you.

- TechUnitedCopper ContributorIf you're sharing screens from within Citrix or RDP, you will have the issue of not being able to get rid of that sharing bar. It's a complete nightmare. That is the worst thing about Teams.
