Has Teams Web background noise cancellation changed?
For months now I've been working with a fan running in the background and I've never had issues with web Teams picking up the constant noise. No one has ever complained about hearing it. This all cha...
I've also tried starting meetings with mute on and this sometimes makes teams behave. probably a 30% failure instead of 60%. While in the same scenario without any changes Zoom is 100% perfect each and every call. This discounts my PC and the network and isolates the issue to teams.
Further searching reveals 3 pages all reporting the exact same problem in the exact same timeframe. I can also confirm the statements that the echo issue does not happen if you use Safari but it has other video issues as its still preview. I've also tried Brave and it causes echo as well. Seems the only way possible to use Web Teams now is to assure that your in a 100% quite location otherwise the 'AI' noise cancellation gets everything wrong at the start of the call by the looks of it.
