Global admin access to private channels
In the event of a legal requirement, what access do Global Admins have to private channels for document discovery? Can anyone point me to documentation? Would it simply be a requirement to grant...
Best thing you could do is "takeover" the channel. There's a longstanding issue with eDiscovery and SPO/ODFB content, where the owner of a group/team/private channel can simply disable indexing and render the entire content of the corresponding site transparent to any of the compliance tools. So if you have a legal requirement, best take matters into your own hands.
