For when the possibility of adding Forms and Planner for Private Channels ???

I just don't understand Microsoft. Why can't it be the same as a normal channel.?My reasons are I want only certain people to be able to view the responses, not fill out the form.

Seems like a major miss. What is the specific excuse Microsoft has for not allowing this? It is honestly ridiculous. Microsoft loves to unveil products/services that continually fail to deliver basic functionality.
