Force Teams-to-Teams calls to use Direct Routing SBC
Hi Nicolas
Unfortunately not and the conclusion is that it's not possible :-(
We have also talked to some MS people about it and it seems to be a scenario/functionality that is just not possible to solve - unless you can live with some creative solutions, like having fake numbers on the users in Teams, but to us, we think that will have some negative affects that is not better for the user experience.
But, should you find a solution, sharing it would of course be appreciated - maybe MS decides to change something so it'll be possible :-)
OK thanks Kasper,
the one way for the moment i made it work, is by typing each time + in front of the extension number Ex: +474, it force to go out microsoft to our Cisco Cube, then to our Call manager who is configure to ring all cisco devices including remote destination ( where a configure Teams routing ), so it go back to Teams... a bit tricky but working

Hi Nicolas
We also (always) uses E.164 prefixed with +, on number on Teams users. But the calls are still handled by Teams and does not go to our AudioCodes SBC. Maybe the difference is that in our setup, we add +45 to numbers not starting with + or 00 - do you do that or?

Hi,
Teams users have numbers setup like +1450xxxxxxx ext=xxx. if a user in Teams enter only xxx on the dialpad, Teams route internaly if it is another Teams phone user, if not it route to the SBC ( Cisco 4331 CUBE) , but if you enter +xxx on the dialpad, it route to SBC. I Try to do rules and translation to automaticly add + in front of xxx, but no joy
