File Syncing from Teams to SharePoint

We are noticing a delay from when a channel or folder is created in Teams to when the folder appears in SharePoint. The sync has taken as long as 22 hours. 

 

What is Microsoft's suggested process? 

 

What is a process that actually works with a reasonable time sync?

    Shouldn’t be the case! Although the channel folder isn’t created until somebody click the files tab in that channel! Maybe this is the case?

      created a new channel in Teams, a corresponding folder in SharePoint was created instantly. had nothing to do with clicking on File tab in Teams. Sorry. This does not appear to be it.
