Hi there
During an Audit recently a question was asked... "What is stopping a user going back historically and changing the message?"
I can see that the messages says edited but is there anywhere where it shows you the change?

The only way to get the original/modified content is to run eDiscovery/Content search: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/content-search
I don't believe the feature to see edited messages is available yet. However you can disable editing messages, this setting is available Globally and per team.
