This functionality makes no sense from a UX perspective. For users, we need to capture actual receipts of conversation, especially when it comes to approvals and authorizations that may be contingent on keeping their jobs. This just forces you to add one more unnecessary step to the process.
And, it is an easy switch. Microsoft won't put it on their product roadmap enhancements until they see more movement on this thread.
